Our program covers training and coaching activities related to academic research writing and methodologies. The program is open to all postgraduate students, researchers, as well as those who aspire to be independent scholars.
Specific topics such as Proposal Writing, Systematic Literature Review, Quantitative Method, Qualitative Method, Information System Research Methodology, Statistics 1, Statistics II, etc are offered from time to time. Thesis Writing Retreat
A 2-DAY WORKSHOP
Our weekend Academic & Writing Retreat covers all aspects of postgraduate thesis writing. This course is over 2 days from 9am-5pm.
Introduction to Quantitative Method

This workshop exposes participants to the fundamental concepts of Quantitative Research Method, its application and interpretation as well as hands on exercises using SPSS. Your laptop must have the SPSS package

Do you provide service for thesis/academic writing editing?
Yes, we do, please email nuraliah@unilangit.com for further details. You need to email us a few pages of your writing to enable us to provide you a quotation.
How do you charge for thesis /academic writing editing?
Based on your writing sample, we will categorize it into 3 levels.
(i) Advance
(ii) Medium
(iii) Poor.
Category (iii) needs more work in terms of editing and will be charged more per page. For level (i) the writing ability might be good but the organization of content and the flow of the work might need more work. The final quote will be after assessing the sample writing.
In what languages are the editing done?
Currently, only in two languages- Malay and English.
What are the classes offered for the Academic Writing?
We offer academic classes for postgraduate students at all levels of work:
(i) Beginners
(ii) Intermediate and
(iii) Final.
What are the types of academic writing coaching offered?
We offer group and individual coaching. We teach you how to write effectively and concisely. This is done face-to-face or using online platforms.
Do you do online academic writing coaching?
Yes, we do both online coaching and face-to-face meetings upon requests from student/s.
What benefits does a student receive upon enrolment?
The student will get
(i) FREE membership into our Traning Academy Postgraduate Lounge on Edmodo platform. This is a platform where students and coaches get to meet online and share information and share experiences, pose questions, with each other.
(ii) There will also be a FREE seminar/webinar every two monthly. There is a chat box where people could pose questions and get real-time responses to the questions.
As for the Academic Writing Class, can I join if I have not started my research and still does not have any materials?
Yes, you can join the beginner’s level.
How long is the Academic Writing Retreat?
The Academic Writing Retreat normal runs over one and a half day on the weekends-Saturday-Sunday.
Do you provide assignment and thesis coaching?
Yes, we do. The instructor will coach and guide you in restructuring the content and will work on helping you draft your chapters effectively. We will work with you up till the end to produce a polished thesis. You will write and we comment on your drafts.
Do you offer writing services – where someone writes our chapters/ thesis for us?
This is unethical. We will not write the chapters for you. You will write your own chapters and we will comment on them.
How is payment made?
We require that you sign up for five sessions first. You should make payment at the beginning and in the middle of the five sessions.
