Frequently Asked Questions
At what age should a child take the public speaking course?
Children as young as 9 years old can start doing public speaking activities. For young children, we start with storytelling with a touch of oral interpretation. They need to first study the story, understand the perspective of the author before delivering the story in front of the class. This is to build their confidence. For the older children, they will be coached on developing their language, techniques and skills required in order to be a confident public speaker.
What is your course structure like?
The public speaking course is over a 3-month duration. At the end of the 3 months, the children will have a showcase of their public speaking skills in front of the audience of family and friends.
Do you offer short intensive courses?
Yes, we do offer short intensive public speaking courses during school holidays. It would be a 2-3 day workshop focusing certain genre of public speaking.
